Terms & Conditions
Bookings
Bookings are made online and confirmed by email. Please be advised that your reservation will only be considered confirmed once payment has been received. Until then, your spot remains tentative and subject to availability. We kindly request that payment be made promptly to secure your place.
Payment
We only accept payment by bank transfer and debit card. We do not accept childcare vouchers and cheque payment. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you encounter any difficulties with the payment method.
Cancellations
Please note that once your booking have been confirmed, it is final and non-refundable (including sickness, transport delayed / cancelled). Booking is only valid for the class they were purchased for. We do not facilitate reschedules under any circumstances.
We require that all children who are ill or infectious be kept home for the full duration of their ailment, and for 48 hours after the last symptom occurs. We may offer a voucher depending on the circumstance.
Your child's information
To ensure a safe and successful program for your child, it's essential that all booking details are accurate and up to date. This includes emergency contact information, medical needs, and any special educational requirements. It is the responsibility of the person making the booking to provide these details, as failure to do so may prevent your child from participating in the program.
Child Exclusion
At Han Arts Education, we prioritize the safety and well-being of all children and staff. Discrimination, bullying, and persistent poor behavior are strictly prohibited, and in rare and serious cases, we reserve the right to exclude a child from our program for either the remainder of the day or the rest of the season. We reserve the right to exclude a child due to illness. Parents/caregivers will be expected to come and collect their child in such cases.
Late Pick-up
Please note that all children must be collected by the end of the event, unless otherwise specified at the time of booking. In the event that you are unable to collect your child by this time, we kindly ask that you notify our event manager as soon as possible. A member of our staff will remain with your child until they are safely collected. Late pick-up fees will be charged at a rate of £10 for every 15 minutes after 4:00pm to cover additional staffing costs. If we have not received any contact from a parent or guardian by 20 minutes after the end of the event, we may need to contact Social Services to inform them of the uncollected child. Please be advised that we reserve the right to refuse future bookings from parents who repeatedly fail to collect their child on time.
Programme and activities
Occasionally, we may need to change venues, dates, activities, or courses due to circumstances beyond our control. Activity programs and timetables are subject to change due to weather or unforeseen circumstances. If we need to cancel specific dates at a venue, we'll try to give 7 days' notice and offer a suitable alternative or a full refund.
Personal Property, mobile phones and electronic devices
All your child's personal property, mobile phones and electronic devices are your responsibilities and Han Arts Education is not liable for any lost or damaged property at the workshop / class. Please contact our event manager if you believe your child has left an item during workshop / class. Our staff will do their best to assist you. Any lost property found will be kept by us for 7 days, if it remains unclaimed, it will be donated to charity. Once it has been donated we are unable to return any item to you from charity.
Photography and Video
Kindly note that we may take photographs or videos of children during workshops and lessons. We will uses these photographs or videos to publicise Han Arts Education and showcase the accomplishment of our students. If you do not wish us to use images of your child or have any concerns, please email us at info.hanartsedu@gmail.com
Feedback / Complaints
We value your feedback and will use it improve our service. If you have any concern about our workshop / classes, please email us at info.hanartsedu@gmail.com
Confidentiality
The Parent and/or Carer agrees not to disclose any aspects of the programme at Han Arts Education to third parties in the same market as Han Arts Education, nor to engage in any competing business directly or indirectly while their child is a pupil of Han Arts Education and for one year after. Furthermore, the Parent and/or Carer will not use or replicate any Han Arts Education material for their own use or for use by any third party.
